Liann Chin Casey, MD

Dr. Liann Chin Casey, a Miami native, grew up in a hardworking, multicultural family that instilled in her a passion for excellence and patient care. She pursued her undergraduate studies at Florida International University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology while consistently making the Dean’s List. She then continued her medical education at St. George’s University School of Medicine, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and was inducted into the Iota Epsilon Alpha Honor Medical Society for her outstanding academic achievements.
Driven by a commitment to surgical excellence, Dr. Casey completed a general surgery residency at Jackson Memorial/University of Miami, where she gained extensive experience in complex procedures, trauma surgery, and reconstructive techniques. She then specialized further in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Cincinnati/Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, refining her skills in aesthetic surgery, breast reconstruction, hand surgery, and craniofacial procedures.
Throughout her career, Dr. Casey has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications in top medical journals and has presented her research at national and regional conferences. She is dedicated to advancing the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery.
