About VASER Hi-Def Liposuction
VASER liposuction utilizes ultrasound technology to help break down stubborn pockets of fat cells found in the body while promoting collagen production. (2) Ultrasound waves help target the fat cells without causing damage or harm to any surrounding tissue while leaving patients more confident, contoured, and toned. VASER offers a higher level of muscle definition and sculpting than traditional liposuction techniques while minimizing damage to the surrounding tissue.
Benefits of VASER Hi-Def Lipo
There are many benefits of VASER hi-definition liposuction. This customizable treatment offers patients a more precise way of removing stubborn fat cells than traditional liposuction methods. Compared to more traditional liposuction methods, VASER liposuction offers a shorter recovery period while also preserving the tissue surrounding the fat. (1) Patients can also expect a boost in self-esteem and confidence as their ideal figure and contour are revealed.
Ideal Candidates
Ideal candidates for a VASER procedure include anyone looking to improve fat deposits, regardless of their starting point. This treatment is suitable for those wanting to address stubborn pockets of fat that do not respond to lifestyle changes. While VASER hi-definition liposuction is often sought by individuals close to their ideal weight, anyone committed to enhancing their body contours may consider the procedure. It is important to maintain a stable weight, as fluctuations can impact results. Candidates should also have good skin elasticity, as liposuction primarily targets excess fat cells rather than removing excess skin. All interested individuals should be in good overall health and willing to refrain from smoking throughout the recovery period.
Additionally, this therapy can be combined with other modalities such as BodyTite and MicroAire to achieve even more drastic results.

Preparation
Before each liposuction procedure, your surgeon will provide each patient with a set of instructions to help you prepare. Patients should arrange to take time away from work and other commitments to focus on their recovery. You will also need to arrange for a trustworthy adult to drive you home after the procedure.
If you smoke, you must stop smoking and/or use nicotine for several weeks until cleared by a member of our team. Each patient must follow the instructions for their pre-operative period for the best results.
Procedure
The procedure begins with administering anesthesia to ensure you feel relaxed and comfortable during the treatment. The surgeon will make an incision in the treatment area and administer tumescent fluid–a combination of lidocaine, saline, and epinephrine–to swell the fat cells, making them easier to remove. Your surgeon will remove the excess fat with a small cannula and gentle suction. The lidocaine and epinephrine used in the solution help desensitize the treatment area while minimizing bleeding. (3)
The VASER probe emits ultrasound waves to emulsify the fat, liquefying it for easier removal. After your surgeon removes the fat cells, they can highlight the muscle definition and tone of your physique. (4) VASER liposuction focuses on body contouring and a deeper level of muscle sculpting than traditional liposuction, which focuses primarily on removing fat. (5)
After sculpting your figure, your surgeon will close the incisions. This procedure can take 1.5 to 3 hours, depending on your anatomy, aesthetic goals, and personalized treatment plan.
Recovery

Patients can return home after a VASER hi-definition liposuction treatment, but they should focus on recovering from their treatment. You may experience mild swelling and/or bruising in the treatment area, which gradually subsides over the next few weeks. If you experience discomfort, you can alleviate it with over-the-counter medication. We can also provide a compression garment to help your body heal properly. Most patients can return to work and their other normal activities within 1-2 weeks, depending on the physical demands of their job. We also recommend taking light walks to promote circulation and blood flow.
Results
Patients can expect to see the effects of their VASER hi-definition liposuction become more noticeable as swelling gradually subsides. Afterward, you can enjoy a smoother, more defined figure. However, patients should ensure they are making necessary diet and exercise decisions to maintain and preserve their new figure. If you experience changes to your figure over time, we can perform a touch-up appointment to help you maintain your results.

FAQ
Will there be any visible scarring after VASER Hi-Definition?
While there will be some scarring, the incisions are purposefully placed to be small and discreet, minimizing visibility. Treatments are available to diminish the appearance of scarring.
Can I combine my procedure with other treatments?
Patients can often combine their treatment with others to target different concerns and achieve more comprehensive results. Because VASER Hi-Definition liposuction is primarily designed to target stubborn fat deposits, patients often combine their liposuction procedure with a procedure more focused on addressing loose, excess skin that can remain after liposuction.
Is VASER Hi-Definition safe?
VASER Hi-Definition is well-tolerated and has helped thousands of patients achieve long-lasting results. During your consultation, we can answer any questions you have about the procedure and create a personalized treatment plan for your specific needs.

How many VASER Hi-Definition appointments will I need?
You can achieve significant results after just a single appointment. However, if your figure changes due to weight gain or aging, we can help you maintain your results with a touch-up appointment.
